GEORGE TENNIS CLUB CROWNS 2026 CLUB CHAMPIONS

George Tennis Club hosted a fantastic weekend of tennis from 15 to 17 May as players battled it out for the prestigious 2026 Club Championship titles.

Supporters were treated to high-quality tennis, competitive matches and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

In the Men’s A Section final, Eduard Steyls defeated Zander Dela Guerre in a spectacular championship match to be crowned the 2026 Men’s Club Champion.

The Ladies’ A Section title went to Maaike Ferreira, who produced an excellent performance in the final against runner-up Annaliese Potgieter.

The B Section also delivered exciting tennis, with Carter Farrell and Tiana v Niekerk emerging as the respective winners in their divisions.

George Tennis Club would like to thank all players, supporters and organisers who contributed to the success of the tournament and helped create a wonderful atmosphere over the weekend.
